Dear guys,

I've just got my first system in my life and after spend a lot of time in reading reviews about system cables, I'm still can not make decision.

Please give me your advice for set of cables (Power, Interconnect, Speaker) that best match my system. My budget for three power cables, one interconnect and one pair of speaker cable (6' is enough for my space) is 1200 US Dollar.

My system:

NAD 545 Bee

NAD 356 Bee

PSB Synchrony 2B

CLEF Powerbridge-8 Line Conditioner

Your advice are very much appreciated.

Thank you and best regards.

I think you can safely remove a 0 from that budget!

You don't need the power chords, the ones that came in the box are as good as they get. For interconnects use the ones that came with the device, but since that advice seems to be contrary to everything HiFi, buy some Van Damme instead. Also use the same maker for speaker cables, though in fact cheap ones from your HiFi stores would be fine.

I'm sure that someone will be along shortly with some far more expensive suggestions, and I do apologise for my cynicism, but recent tests and listening have proved to me that one well-made cable is pretty much the same as another, and that's come from someone who wasted a lot of money on cables.

Hi sriracha

I feel you only need to spend a small fraction on the value for your systems cabling :)

For interconnects and mains cables i'll highly recommend using the basic ones which have come supplied with your cd player and amplifier.

For speaker cables i highly recommend using standard 79 - 500 strand OFC type. These cables cost very liitle money and are generally available from many electrical stores.

Keep it simple and your components/systems will breathe

All the best

I'm a big believer in specialist mains powerkords with which i've had great results with, rather than me go into all that again just type in "powerkords reviews" etc in the search forums bar.

You'll find some interesting reading there then just make up ur own mind.

Cheers.
