Is to advisable to switch off the display on the amplifier (if such a function allows) to obtain optimal sound quality? I am aware that it is recommended to do so on suitably equipped CD players to minimise electronic interference. Does the same principle apply for amplifiers? Just curious because my Cambridge Audio 840A V2 amp allows the display backlighting to be dimmed or switched off, although the actual display itself remains active. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
