surround speakers

hi to everyone. a bit of advice is what iam after. i have got ms 902i front speakers.ms 905i centre. tannoy sfx sub and rears;just wanted to know if these speakers are compatible with each other . I am new to all this and dont really understand about speaker crossover and such like; any advice would be much appreciated; nick

How does it sound? Ideally, you want Mordaunt Short 900 series rears as well, e.g. another pair of 902is or even the 903is to keep the tonal balance. On the other hand, if it sounds good and cohesive to you, that's all that really counts.

It sounds a little weak at the rear; iwas thiking of getting a Q acoustics 1010i for the rears as they seam to have good reviews. also they are not very large. would they work ok with the fronts and sub.

You'd be much better off with the 902is to complement your fronts.

yeah its just a the size of the 902 that is stopping me

Ah - what about the 903is mentioned above? They're a bit smaller and bi-poles would normally be wall mounted. Does that help?

i was looking at those on the web. not sure how they would sound. would i still be able to site them in the corners.

Not sure in all honesty, are there any dealers nearby who would stock them? You could arrange to go have a listen and possibly a home demo.
