Suitable Speakers?

Hi

I have bought a Denon DM38DAB and have the chance of some second hand Dali Lektor 1 speakers to go with it. However, I notice that the Denon is rated at 30W whereas the Dali spec recommends amps of 40W to 100W.

So, are these speakers suitable or should I be looking at something else?

Your help would be appreciated as I don't really understand the whole watts/ohms/efficiency aspect of choosing the correct equipment.

Thanks in advance

Stu

Depends how loud have your music. If played at ordinary levels it should be fine, otherwise, if cranked up, could cause speaker damage, defined by distortion or clipping.

Maybe better looking at Q Acoustics 2020i.

Had a pair hooked up to my DM37 for a while and a great match.

Can't comment on how they might perform if really cranked up as I never had the need to in my bedroom set-up
