Suggest to have HiFi Auction Online

Sorry, but the scale of administration involved in providing such a service makes it very unlikely that we would offer it in the near future.

Sooner rather than later Ms Newsome: my attic is positively bulging. Though I may have to register the seller name Mr A Nonymous....

I agree with the editors it takes a lot of administration. The knock on is you then need to charge for membership of the forum to cover the costs. I admire what the guys have done with a free forum and would rather see that preserved.

If I can suggest an alternative then I would say free classifieds might work in the longer haul but even that would require establishing a personal message service so that members could exchange information in private. That said a lot of the pre-existing forum engines have this functionality already.

TBH in real ife the free ads in the local paper seem to be the best way of getting rid of unwanted equipment or one of the many profesional re-sellers.
