Sub-titles on ITV HD (Freesat)

I am hard at hearing and so need to use sub-titles to fully enjoy a programme. I have a Humax Foxsat box to receive Freesat. On BBC HD I get sub-titles no problem, but when I have to push the red button on my remote to get ITV HD the sub-titles for some reason do not work. The only way to watch a programme that is on ITV HD is to revert to SD to watch and then I get the sub-titles again. I know this is not the most enlightening subject, but it is important to me. Any help would be appreciated.

You cant get subtitles on ITV HD unfortunately due to it being a red button service.

When/if it launches as a proper channel with its own slot on the Freesat EPG,it will be able to offer subtitles.
