I am looking for a pair of standmounters for less than £100. Secondhand or new doesn't matter. They are going to be a present for my father. To replace his 25ish year old Toshiba stand mounters the tweeters have started to fail. His system consists of Cyrus Dvd8 which serves as both dvd and cd player. Yamaha rx-v795 rds multi channel amp and recivier. Yamaha kx-250 tape player and his much loved Beogram 9000 record player. All cables are Clearer audio copperline. What suggestions can you fine folk come up with. I want it to be a surprise present so him demo'ing is a no no. His musical choices range from 50's rock and roll to Britney spears. No judgements just the facts please lol
