Struggling to choose what tv would be best for me.

I am looking to update my current TV for a new 40 inch smart TV.

I am looking to spend between £350-600

- I am a keen gamer so great picture quality is important!!

- Also have a Sky Plus HD box so picture quality needs to be top notch for sports and movies etc..

Not too bothered about sound quality just as long as there is easy acsess to netflix and the picture quality is the best for my price range.

Can anyone help me??? Thank you

Is that as good as the Sony KDL-40W605B?

I know that got the award for best TV of that size 2014 but now can't find it anywhere???

And also just a quick one is the Panasonic 4K TV that's about £600 worth looking at?

The sony 605b is last years model so you may not find any stock and i don't know enough about the Panasonic Viera TX-40CX680 to comment.

I have the 50" and a friend has the 40" and we're both very happy. My boys have no complaints about the gaming capabilities (though they're no connoisseurs, and I don't know about the specs on input lag), but the remote has a direct Netflix button!

EDIT - don't bother with 4K yet.
