Static noice help pls!

Hello all. I have a Denon 1909 with B&W 685 for 5.1 setup. I noticed that when I'm turning rapidly the volume up or down, while music plays, I hear static noise from the speakers. This is significantly noticeable when music is rich with bass and non existent when music has high frequencies. I don't have any issue with the movies (or at least as my ear tells). My subwoofer is off when im listening to music. Do you know if this is normal? Does anyone got this problem? Is it possible to fix it?
