Standmounts with sub or floorstanders?

I was just wondering if anyone has done any like for like testing for example you could buy a pair of GS10, Stands and GSW12 Sub for the same money as the GS60 but was just wondering which would sound better?

With the floorstanders you're stuck with the voicing that MA have decided upon. That's it, no change other than usual placement. With a sub you have more scope to set it up according to your tastes more easily. Also you can change it for different music too. Integration can muck things up but with the right sub for the room and a bit of time spent on placement and tuning you can get it to sound pretty good.
