Spendor SP100R2

With the thread discussing £10,000 to £20,000 systems I have some questions:

Would Spendor SP100R2 speakers work well with my amps?

Would I be better off with Quad ESL 63 speakers?

Or just stick with what I have?

Adding is a Quad 67 CD player next week.

My advice would be to get the speakers and then figure the amp out later......provided you have a room that can take them.

Would Spendor BC3 be any good?

How readily available are replacement parts?

Checked with Spendor -
BC3 has several parts no longer available.
S100 still has all drive units available.

I think the S100's need a fairly large room.
How about BC1 or SP1 for a medium size room?
How would they compair to what I currently have?
Are they worth the effort to go and demo?
It would probably involve the best part of a whole day to do so.
