Spendor S3E vs Leema Xone

Hello everybody.

I suspect it would be hard to find an aswer to my question, but anyway - did someone of you do some comparison of two mentioned speakers? I enjoy my spendors, but something is missing at the bottom end. Better resolution would be nice too.

Low volume levels, room 20m^2.

Can't answer your question directly. However, you're talking about immensely different speakers, and then throw in the presentation of the amp. Not sure you'll ever get a "useful" response, apart from have a listen to both.

The PMC TB1S+ is a great match for the XTZ, plenty of bottom end. One of the only PMC's I actually get on with.

I've not heard your Spendors but I managed to boost the low end of my Spendor SP 1/2Rs with Ringmat speaker cables. Might be worth a try?

I just ran into your debate. I extremelly appreciate owning S3e's for some years. So far the best and reasonable match was naim uniti lite. Excellent in bottom line (both extent and control), details and musical enagagement is trilling.

Else combo Sonos streamer + arcam amplification works nice as well, but one should take more care of appropriate interconnects and speaker wires as with option above.
