It is very difficult for me to get to audition any equipment so I am going down the review method. Thats not new to me, I have done that before and it's usually been very successful as there are great ways to review these days!

I like accoustics/vocals midrange... I also listen to heavier music and occasionally classical but to me I prefer a system that delivers a nice open and transparent soundstage in the midrange - to get some pure sounds with vocals and accoustic is important, but with the heavier sounds well thats a different experience and I don't mind trading some performance there.

So my thinking is Spendor A6, Pathos Logos, +...? Also there are some other options of course with the amp/source, particularly to get some synergy... I am thinking of 8 to 10k and would really welcome thoughts and opinions.

You can start ground up but if thats all too vague then the big question is what would be a good source?

You might consider Sonus Faber too - great voicing in the midrange. Goes well with Naim amplification, >=XS, not to mention Unison Research.
