Hi,

i have a rega planet and a linn majik 1 and am looking for some speakers up to ub to about £500.00

any ideas,suggestions

For that money I would go with standmounted. The speaker that springs to mind is Epos M12's. They are a little over budget, try and look on their website; sometimes they have ex-dem, and also allow for decent stands too. Kef would be a good match, especially if floorstanders are your thing.....

and id add the totem dreamcatchers as a possibility but how big is your room and what sort of sound do you like

thanks for all of the replies 22ft by 15ft i like a nice clear sound not to fusy that is capable of being cranked up when needs to be but still sounds as good low down.

Floorstanders generally sound better at low volumes.So I would look at Kef IQ5SE (Richer Sounds) or Focal 714V available from Audio-T as ex dem model.
