I've been listening to some stuff today.Yamaha A-S700 amp with soavo 1 speakers(to 50 khz),also with ns-333 (to 35 khz) and with kef iq10 (to 40 khz). After some switching between speakers I really had the feeling that high frequencies were very tiring.Soavo's were not that great, just more bass than the ns-333. IQ10's were good ,just need a little more bass.Anyone with extended range speakers?Impressions?

The frequency range of a speaker doesn't tell you anything about it's tonal balance. The only way to hear the tonal balance of a speaker is to hear it for yourself, and also with your own electronics as this will affect how they sound too.

If you like iQ10's but need a 'little more bass', then the iQ50's should meet your requirements. If you need more, then the iQ70 is worth a try.
