Speakers to match Pioneer VSX-LX53

Hi I recently got a good bargain at a Pioneer LX53 to replace my old Onkyo. Now I am in the process of auditioning new speakers. I have read great things about the Monitor Audio speakers, but do they match the reveiver. Do they match this receiver or does anybody got some ideas on what speakers may match my new reveiver budget will be around 500 GBP thanks

I have the pioneer SC-LX72 with the RX6, and i love it, but selling it and buying the new onkyo 818 with xt32, seems too good to pass up.

what about the RX1 or RX2 or some b grade or ex demo RX6. Also check out the New q series from kef.

If you want to make the most of your receiver, have a look at Monitor Audio's BX range, and KEF's Q series.

If you want something more 'lifestyle', try KEF's KHT5005se's, Monitor Audio's Radius range, or B&W's MT50 or MT60D packages.

i now own a pair op Klipsch floorstanding speakers, but I am not satisfied with the sound

they have a pair of built in active subwoofers, wich makes the bass too much

never considered KEF , but B&W are on my audition-list

I think I am going to aim at standmounts
