I am looking at speakers for my study approx 3.3 x 3.3 x 2.9 metres (not ideal I know) have been offered Proac D2s at a very appealing price and I do like the Proac sound having 2 pairs already. The other speakers that I have heard and liked are PMC TB2i and Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand Piano. Amplification will be a Creek Destiny, rega Apollo cdp and a Rega P5 as sources, I already own this gear and don't really want tobuy new electronics at this time. I listen to a variety of music, classical orchestral & chamber music, jazz/blues and some 'classic' rock. Unfortunately home demo is not possible as the Proacs are on the other side of the country.

First post, cheers

Hi Jack, welcome and Happy New Year....

I think you've answered your own question (I'm guessing you want some advice) and should stick with the Proacs to be honest!

If it's standmounts you want, go for them. If you want bass, add aa small sub?

Thank you Graham. You are right, basically just wanted reassurance that the D Two's would work in my room with a nearfield listening position, as I has read that they like some room...
