Damages sound more than I realised!

However much I adjusted the floor spikes there would still be some movement as the unit was just not heavy enough.

Tried something a bit different. Put my old stands on top of the speakers.

The base of the top stands is also deep enough to brace against the back wall.

The speakers now seem completley solid and have no noticable movement.

In addition to that, new parts include,

Altacama stands a friend gave me and a Tacima 929 which just arrived today at a very reasonable £27.55 delivered.

Interesting experiment! Perhaps you can make some tidy weights from some dumb-bells. I've just bought some spike shoes but can't play because I only ordered four, what a muppet I am. Let us know how you get on with the Tacima!
