Speaker upgrade advice please B&W to PMC?

Hi

Ive had my B&W S2 603s, 601s, LCR6 and SVS SB12 Plus for a while now. They are powered by a Denon AVC-A11XVA amp. Ive been thinking of upgrading my speakers for a while and would like some advice what to upgrade to? My system is used 90% movies 10% music.

How much cash approx would I have to spend to notice a significant improvement? I was thinking maybe some 2nd hand PMC speakers? Been offered some FB1+ and the matching Centre TB2MC+ for £1300? Would this be a good upgrade? Or can anyone suggest different speakers I should be looking at?

You will notice a huge jump in performance moving up to the PMC range. The FB1i ( the current model ) is priced over the £2k mark and happily performs at that level so a real step up. You have a great amp and the B&Ws wont be quite be letting it all through. You have been offered a good price and you would be wise to jump at it if you like the sound.
