Looking for a good small speaker to match my cyrus setup. They must be good against back wall-kind of angled into the corners and on a desktop due to " 'er indoors"

Did have a pair of MS Mezzo 2 but gone back to an old pair of Tannoy 603.

Any ideas guys & gals? Budget upto say £500 ish- would prefer lower

Maybe some used Spendor S3e's or S3/5r's. SA1's would also be a contender, but you may have to pay a little more. Although with a 6vs2, I'd stick to highly efficient speakers like some old Rega Kytes. You could look at KEF XQ10's.

How about a pair of AVI Neutron III or IVs? Should be available for well under that.

Hi knacker

If your room is not too big and you don't play the system at high levels then ATC's SCM7 speakers are also worth considering. The SCM7's are closed box designs and more importanty are flat and honest in their presentation which will help with positioning them close to walls without the bass in particular getting itself into a twist.

All the best
