speaker advice for Cyrus 6vs2 and smallish room

What speakers would work well in a room approx 2.5m x 4m ie long and thin and the speakers have to be near to a wall and will be on isolation platforms on a desk- no way to avoid it I'm afraid

Currently have a pair of MS902i but they are left over from a budget system

What's your budget?

I'd be thiking along the lines of Dali Ikon 2 or perhaps some secondhand Spendor S3 or S3e.

Depending on the sound you want, Rega or Royd book shelf models, or if you want a warmer sound spendor or proac.

If you can get them on a deal either Quadral Pico or Leema Xero's assuming the latter are a good fit. Both RRP'd at £650. Consider also AVI Neutron IV or V. All are well worth shortlisting.
