Any email client should allow you to delete an email without actually viewing it, you shouldn't click ANYTHING in an email if you're not sure where it came from.

Turn off the preview pane for your junk folder if possible.

I'm not sure how to describe it,the sender requests you click a yes or no,in a box or it locks you in the junk folder, i have to select one to get out of the junk folder.

Close the email client (or ctl, alt, delete and use task manager to close the email client).

Run your virus scan.

Bring email back up and delete the spam items without opening them this time.

Is this more complex?? What email client? What is the yes/no in answer to? Can you delete the spam mail without going into it? Can u use a spam filter to delete it before it gets to yr spam box using a sender/subject word?

I think it's confirmation that you've recieved the e-mail although i'm not sure and no you can't delete the spam or leave the junk folder untill you have clicked the box.
