Sound from computor

Hi Everybody

I am wondering if someone can help?

I have a PC with some of my vinyl collection converted to digital format. I have connected the audio out on the back of the PC into my amp. However there is no sound when using it to surf or play the music on it. How can I solve this problem ? and check if there is a sound card in the PC(I brought it second hand).

If it didn't have a sound card it's unlikely to have an audio out (is that definitely what the socket on the PC is?).

Have you checked that the audio isn't muted on the PC or that you have drivers installed for the sound card?
