I have a Sony X707 ES CDP which has been sat in the cupboard now for a few months unused.

Any suggestions on the best place to sell.. i.e. ebay or a more specialist website?

I prefer Gumtree personally. It's free and easier to ensure you only get local interest who can pickup and pay when they take it, minimising risk of scammers.

ebay, without a doubt. A worldwide audience to your auction.

Make sure you tick the relevant international shipping destinations. Post only to buyers that are elligible for Paypal compensation and only post to confirmed addresses.

ebay is safe enough if you take care. You will be unlikely to get a better price elsewhere, as ebay is a sellers market. Punters don't look very far for an assumed bargain!!!
