Sony strda 1200es second Amp?

I have a Sony STR DA1200es, is there a way of adding a power Amp to drive the front speakers? I have a spare Audiolab 8000p and would it improve the sound, or would it show up the sonic limitations of the sony? I want to add an older used pair of Mission 735's, as i have converted the garage to a home cinema and space now isnt an issue and would like to use all my old stored Hi-Fi.

I cannot imagine replacing just two channels will have any measurable benefit unless you just want to listen in stereo!

i have put another few posts on here fordy, and what im trying to achieve is best of several worlds, got some good old gear in store that i want to use, amps/cd/speakers and a newer lower quality suround sound 6.1 surround system and want the best out of both of them in one place.
