Sony Remote Control interfering with Samung DVD Player! WHY ??

Hi

just bought a Sony DAV-DZ260 Surround Sound System

when i press a couple of buttons on the Sony Remote on it to change a few settings, it then turns this Samsung DVD Player on and off!

its so damn annoying if you want to do anything!

why is this happening?

They obviously share a couple of IR Codes. It is rare but it happens.

Check your manuals for both boxes may tell you how to change if conflicts, some systems have this option
