Sony or Panasonic

I'm undecided between 2 sets: one LCD, the other is Plasma.

They're both great it seems and have received many good reviews.

Which one will give me the better picture (including for SD and also Freeview - no Sky in our house)?

So, Sony 32inch V4000 Series, or the Panasonic TX-37PX90 ?

If you've got either of those sets, your impartial opinion of your own kit will be much appreciated and useful to me I'm sure.

Eventually, I'm planning to connect whatever set I get to the Sony 820 AV receiver and (maybe) some Tannoy surround speakers. The Blu-ray player is the Sony 350.

Ive owned both technologies and wont be buying and lcd again! I think the plasma picture looks more natural more like a big crt

I agree. Of the two 37PX80 is by far the superior set (you mean PX80 rather than PX90 right? I never saw this model at least).

I'm watching the prices around and I'm hoping to pick one up near or after Christmas.
