Sony BDP S760 upscaling virtues compared with Denon 2930?

So, having sorted out the analogue out issues into my RXV 2700, the next step is to know how good the 1080p upscaling is.

My current crop of movies are all DVD, ahead of the Blu Ray jump can any one tell me if the upscaling of the S760 is as good as, or better than the Denon 2930 I am using, with any comment of how good would be useful

Hi,

I have the 2930 and was asking the same questions before buying my denon 2500bt, as I thought the 2930 was an excellent dvd player. The 2500bt absolutely blows it off the planet. No comparison at all! Unfortunately, I can't comment on the Sony as I don't have one, but I didn't want to leave you with no replies!!
