sony bdp - s350 help!

Hi. i have this player and just wandered if i should do anything to make the picture better. e.g on a tv you have to set it up properly when you first get it. Is there something similar with a blue ray player or is it simply plug in and play?

When you plug it in for the first time it will run through an intial setup then you will need to go into video and audio sections and set them up as you need them. Also set up internet connections at the same time if you need them.Use the instruction book and run through that as you set the machine up.
