Sony BDP-S 760 picture problem

Hi,

I have a Sony BDP-S 760 that has developed a picture fault, when images move fast across the screen.

The images on the screen have a ghosting or shadow, and sometimes the picture in the area of the ghosting can break up. This is more noticeable with a dark image on a light background.

Has anyone else come across this problem with the Sony.

I have the same problem. Sony will send a dvd with a system for reset the machine. If I have the same problem after this, Sony will repare this one.

Mine works perfectly with BD, can't coment re DVD playback as I don't use it for DVD

No such problems with my 760 when watching dvd's so i have no idea what the problem may be, just a thought but is the player up to date with the current firmware? I got an update for mine just a few weeks ago...i'm sure yours is also up to date but it's worth asking eh

I've never had a problem with my S760 - might be worth checking the settings to make sure you're not forcing the output to something that's incompatible with your display...
