Sony BD350

Hi

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to use a Sony BD350 blu ray player as a media player (as you can with a playstation)? I have a Western Digital external hard drive and was hoping to use the BD350 to play video, access my photos and music files? The hard drive and BD350 are all connected via the router. Any ideas?

No. The ethernet connection is for BD-Live and firmware updates only.
