Not a good day.

England World cup party today.

Thought I'd cheer everybody up in the garden with a game of guess the song on my Sonos S5. Oh, and show off at the same time!

I have a fully wired internet system in the house with my ZP90 ethernet linked to my router (under the stairs). It's next to our french windows. The S5 was parked outside the french doors (about 10 feet outside and about 12 feet between each unit.)

Massive amount of dropout on system - stuttering, etc

Also in my garden, the wifi (and control) drops out at about 10 feet out.

How do I boost the Sonus signal?

Can I change my basic O2 modem/router to a system that will give me some coverage in the garden?

The router's wi-fi has got nothing to do with Sonos, unless you're using an iPhone controller. If that's the case and both are dropping out then there's either serious interference or your patio windows are made of lead or something.

I'd guess it's the channel though, good luck finding a free channel if you're surrounded by other networks.
