There is way too much variation in microphones and other internal hardware and software to do this with Android phones. Not Sonos' fault.

One thing not mentioned is that Sonos One supports 24bit from Qobuz, but Play:1 apparently doesn't.
It's noted on Sonos site that "Older products may only support up to CD lossless quality for all tracks", which apparently refers to Play:1 and Play:3 despite being S2 compatible. https://support.sonos.com/s/article/1782?language=en_US Of course whether you can hear the difference is a different matter.

There is one big reason not to buy any Sonos products when looking for a Google smart speaker: it does not support Google Cast. Therefore you can not create a speaker group with other Google Cast based products.

This is a show stopper for me. I even read people leaving Sonos for this sole reason on the Sonos forum. If they would be more interoperable I would order a pair of Sonos Ones immediately.
