I was searching for my first "big upgrade" and the entry to the hifi world... and when I was sitting in front of the comp thinking what I can buy - I decided to check what is going on in the hifi world in Poland (because I'm a Pole🙂

 I discovered few setups which are not only beautifully designed but also hopefully sonically are great too. For example this amp:

 .... and many more. I was surprised how many small hifi companies you can find there.

 

I'm hoping to do a wee tour next summer and listen to some of them but now I want to ask - anyone who is using less popular but very good hifhi setups? Can you share your stories? Any users of amps and speakers made in Italy, Spain or any other "less popular" countries?

I have no idea🙂 The good thing about those companies is that they usually veryÿhelpfulÿand open for "customÿmodifications" too. I would just simply send them an email and ask🙂

It is already very difficult to decide among all the different well known brands and components. If you even add more to the quest...

The amps look nice but terribly expensive... The speakers just look horrible to me.

With those exotic brands you have to make sure that a good customer service is guaranteed.
