Small pre-amp?

Does anybody know of small-sized pre-amps with balanced outs, remote control and ideally a home theater bypass?

A variation would be as above but with a built in DAC?

You may still be able to find a 2009 pre (+) model either ex demo or end of line.

Small changes only for 2010 model.

Bel Canto pre3 has XLR outpouts but I'm not sure it has AV bypass.

Its manual states it has "Home Theater Bypass mode on Input 5" - which sounds pretty much like AV bypass to me.

Thanks, gents. Bel Canto looks a candidate, I beleive it is about 1800.

Loosk like the choice is quite limited if trying to fit all the requiremtns in (small, balanced out, bypass, remote).

Which full-size pre amps can you recommend (balanced out, bypass, remote). Budget 500-1500.

ATC CA2 at about 1000 is a possibility. Which others are worth looking at?
