Small home cinema advice

I'm about to buy the samsung LE37B550 but have read the sound is poor and it will need aditional speakers- as this TV is for a bedroom i did not want an big home cinema system with receiver.. Ideally i wanted a decent TV with blu ray player (do i have to have an amp as well?) Any advice would be appreciated! My budget for all is about 1000.

How about the Q Acoustics Q-TV2 unit? Available for about £300 leaving you approximately £200 for the BD player by my calculations.

or, perhaps try an all-in-one system? This Sony is decently priced...
