Anyone know when the new HD channels go to air on SKY HD? Also heard they were gonna start broadcasting in full 1080P HD soon?

New channels coming, no firm date. And the 1080p thing is news to me...

I don't think we will see 1080p broadcasts in this country for many years and certainly not using the current codecs as the bandwidth demands are just too great over the air.

The new Sky HD channels - and the updated EPG - are due in October, from our last updated info. But as Andrew says, no exact date, and certainly no suggestion of 1080p.
