Sky HD Judder

Has anybody else noticed every so often (many on the football) the picture with sky HD will judder and slow down. then it comes back in to sync.

Has become really annying and don't know whats causing it. Only started recently and had no changes to my system.

Is this a native 1080i signal (Sky Sports HD) we're talking about here?ÿI'm not really familiar with the settings available on your TV but it sounds like the TV is having a hard time detecting the correct frame rate and is slipping into film deinterlacing mode (and consequently looking for 24 frames instead of 25 frame per second). You might find an option like Auto / Video / Film mode somewhere in the settings menu. Auto is unreliable on most TVs and even on many high end video processors. You want Video mode for football (as it's shot at 25fps) and even most Sky movies (as they tend to be hard telecined to 25fps).ÿ
