Shuffle or not to shuffle?

Just wondering if people prefer to have their mp3 player on shuffle to get a random mix or do they prefer to listen to a particular album all the way through?

Shuffle.....makes those many times played albums more interesting. However, I now understand why selecting an order to album tracks is a bit of an art as sometimes shuffle comes up with a combination that sounds odd.

I tend to shuffle playlists when the PC is playing through the hifi at home, but listen to whole albums in the car...wierd...

albums or artists. except when i'm decorating (or presumably in one place for a significant amount of time) when i suffled it.
