Wife took CDs and Tapes with her when she went to the Big Box store (many years ago) and to the surprise of the spotty kid at the store proceeded to audition all the midi systems stacked on the shelves. Very proud of her, and yes this does sound remarkably good for a plastic box,

a friend of mine has a mini aiwa amp from the early 80's I think and it's magnificent sounding with some bookshelf tannoys he also has from that decade.dont know what model though...always craved to get a sound like that

My Aiwa is going to the Charity Shop on Friday...

It has served me well, may it find another good home!

My mate bought one about 12 years ago (he's still got it) because he saw it in Curry's and thought it looked "good". Sounds as awful as it looks!
