Should i update my pioneer BDP-51FD

Should I update my pioneer BDP-51FD? my av amp can decode dts hd master so do I really need to update it? It on version 1.17

I,d imagine that updating will be beneficial in more ways than just decoding onboard hd soundtracks.

ÿWill increase stability and loading times for bluray discs. Have just updated my bdp-51fd and its a doddle! ÿ

If you don't experience any problems there's probably little point. I've been using v1.17 since I got the player and never had issues. There have been reported problems with v1.25 so I did'nt bother. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

thats what i think but on the bluray display the audio speed is only 1.70mbps when its suppose to be alot higher on dts hd master. there was a post on here a few days ago who had the same problem and after he updated it, it was alot higher?

just updated my player alot better on the audio biterate.....

If any1 wants the update disc i would be more than welcome to send it them?
