Should I get an Apple TV

I currently supplement my non Smart TV with a little Sony Media Player. I'd say 95% of it's use is streaming BBC iplayer to the TV. Now I really like the sound of this "mirroring" form IOS5 devices to the ATV. I'm presuming mirroring the iplayer app etc will mean life can go on as normal. Worth it or not, do you think ?

Yes.

I see it as an Airport Express with knobs on, I love it. Not tried the iPlayer thing though as my iPad is the chuby kind.

It won't mirror my iPad 1 !!

But got the 4s so could still do it. It's not outrageously expensive so I might give it a go. I've got a Sonos on my HC so prob won't use it for iTunes.
