some advice please

am thinking of getting either a Samsung dvd hd870 and a set of jamo a102hcs or if funds allow a kef 2005.2 package running through a yamaha 630 av amp(possible replacement) and a sony kdl 26t3000 tv

or go for the sony dav-is10 and a completly seperate stereo system

I'd normally agree with Nokz here, but reading your post again, you're asking if you should buy a bigger home cinema system that does everything, or buy the Sony DAV-IS10 plus a separate stereo system - in which case i'd go with the latter; you'll get better music and a corking little cinema system.
