Sennheiser HD25-1

Do the Sennheiser HD25-1 leak alot of noise? And do they block out much ambient noise?

Im not too bothered about them blocking out ambient sound if i can have my music loud enough without leaking noise.

Whats the cheapest you can get them for?

Hi Ben.

Ive never personally listened to them, so im unable to give you any input there. Someone here might be able to help you, who's had hands on experience of them.

They are a closed back design so they shouldn't leak too much sound. Also they are supposed to perform exceptionally well in high-noise environments.

Ive not really searched about for prices, but just quickly browsing the product ive seen them from £100.00 but im not so sure about the website i saw them at for that price, so i wont paste the address.. Amazon are selling them at £128.00.

You'll prolly find a better price if you look around.

I personally wont buy any product i cant demo before i buy.

Yes they do, to a very annoying extent. I was surprised, and ruled them out as commuterphones.

Every headphones leaks depending on where you have the volume. I would say that the HD25-1's (which I've had for 11 years now) aren't that bad.
