Searching for new speakers, CD player and amp

Hi,

Im seriously looking for help with this subject. I'm about to replace my old JBL LX 400 speakers, Technics SL-PG390 cd player and SA-EX120 receiver.

So far i've found these speakers:

B&W 685

The room is 5 by 4 meters and i'm listening to a variety of music such as, Jeff Buckley, nine inch nails, incubus, The walkmen The National The Verve etc. The price range i'm looking for is about 1500£ for all.

I'm a bit lost here, so i'm looking forward to some great suggestions from you
