Even if I had 33K to spend,a CD player would be the last thing I think of.I would never spend 33K on hifi full stop.Absolutely nothing in audio is worth 33K design wise IMO.

Just because a source component is expensive, don't believe the idea you need expensive cables to match it,and the amps should be capable of driving your speaker choice,that simple.

I went to a big hifi do yesterday, the kits were Esoteric AZ-1 (moded) amp, Victor transport and DAC, JBL Project Array 1400 and a lot more....
The point is when we change the power cables to Nordost Brama, my jaw stay firmly in place! I may going deaf but I couldn't hear a bit of different!
