I was wondering if there is a way and what equipment I would need in order to just have a television in the bedroom on its own, and for it to be able to receive signal from DVD and satellite hardware in the living room.

Please can you advise what I need for this and if I get a good reception. Just trying to avoid having a DVD player in the bedroom as well and just have a wall mounted TV and also I don't have to worry m,uch about cabling.

Used to have something similar but it was ropey to say the least. Currently use the second output (antenna) on the Sky box and a signal distributor in the loft to send Sky all over the house (have to watch the same channel as the living room). There's a little device that you can plug into the aerial "circuit" at the TV end, that allows you to use a Sky remote to control the Sky box as if it is in the same room.

I do have a DVD player in the bedroom as well.
