Having bought the Awards edition of the magazine, and read around the web a bit, I quite fancy a Samsung LE32R87BD. Can't quite stretch to the £1000 for the panasonic so there we have it.

What's confusing me, is that later on in the mag, there's an advert selling a Samsung LE32R87BDX.

What's the significance of the X ? Is there any difference ?

Cheers for any advice.

We've had a number of similar queries and I'm checking it out with Samsung, but as far as we know (so far) there's no difference. I'll update you as soon as I have an official reply from Samsung.

OK, the official reply from Samsung is:

"The official code is LE32R87BDX, sometimes people take the X off but it does not mean anything."

So now you know.
