Hi

I've got a couple of Apple Mac's. An iMac and a MacBook Pro, both running Safari 3.1.2. I'm having a terrible time trying to get the lovely buttons along the top of the message text area to work. If I want to have bold text for example, the way I have done it in IE7 is to highlight the relevant text then hit the B button - but this method doesn't work in Safari!

How am I getting bold text you ask? I'm being forced to use [] box brackets but this doesn't work for everyhing. It's okay for bold, itallics and underlining but for anything else I'm stranded.

Is there a forum compatibility issue with Safari? I don't like FireFox but if that works I'll switch for the short term - only when posting to WHF mind you!

Any info would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Point raised with the DM team - will let you know if/when we have a solution.

Thanks Mr Everard, for further info I've just tried Firefox and all seems to work as it should. I might even be brave and change my Avatar as this also doesn't function with Safari, although if I did it may have a disrupive effect on the forums, I'm a pretty rough looking piece of work, scary in fact. You have to be at least eighteen to even look at me!

I'm trembling already! But yes, it's best to use Firefox if you can until we get those pesky bugs in Safari sorted.
