Rotel streaming and NAS ?

Hi Folks, I'd like to know which NAS to choose to stream audio to a Rotel digital gateway. I am thinking about Rotel RDG-1520 or RCS-1500 with a Synology USB Station 2 or DS110J. Rotel's doc says it is uPnP compatible but that they only support Windows Media Player 11 and 12. Do you know if the Synology NAS are recognized by the Rotels ? Thanks and regards

I actually wanted to ask if you managed to get this thing to work (Synology - RDG-1520)? I'm planning to do the same.
